started attending the A & C Welder Training and Testing Institute out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From there, Scott spent his career constructing bridges and mining equipment and steel constructs. He then switched gears and attended the Lincoln College of Technology to learn how to program robots to weld. Due to his wide range of experiences and desire to pass along his knowledge to future welders, Scott became a Welding instructor at Jacobs Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center.

started working in carpentry at age 16. He is a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters. John shares the joy of being able to share his knowledge with these students.

, International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Painting instructor, brings over 40 years of experience to Jacobs Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. Dana enjoys teaching young people the skills required to be successful painters and teaching them what is necessary to acquire and keep a job in painting.

, Heavy Equipment Mechanics instructor, brings over 20 years of experience Jacobs Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. Kevin started my career at the age of 19. Throughout his career, Kevin has completed several safety, repairs and operations courses. His goal is to pass knowledge on to every student that decides to attend Job Corps.

is a certified OSHA 10/30 instructor and has been a member of the Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons' International Association since 2009. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, which helps him relate to students. John connects with students by helping them recognize their abilities.

is the lead instructor for the heavy equipment division at Jacobs Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. Anthony, a journeyperson operator, is part of the Local 917 Operating Engineer Union. Anthony represents the International Union of Operating Engineers National Training Fund Job Corps.  Anthony’s proven dedication through studies, experiences and teachings within the civil engineering field of Earthworks has earned him the status of a master trainer.

brings over 20 years of experience to Jacobs Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center. He has served as the Heavy Equipment Operator instructor for over a decade and is a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. He enjoys teaching students how to read and set grade stakes to assist in project engineering.

has over 15 years of business administration and technology teaching experience. She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kansas. Jonell now serves as the Business and Finance instructor at Pine Ridge Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, where she is preparing the students for careers after Job Corps.

has worked with Pine Ridge Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center for over decade as a Maintenance instructor, with previous experience working in residential, recreation, counseling and education. He enjoys working and teaching in the facility maintenance field and watching his students accomplish their goals.

is a graduate of the Bricklaying program at North Central Kansas Technical College in Beloit, Kan. He completed the program and joined the Union Bricklayers Local 2 in Lincoln, Neb. Jeremy then accepted the IMI Bricklaying instructor position at Pine Ridge Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center over a decade ago. He uses his knowledge and experience to motivate young people in basic bricklaying techniques to meet the demand of union bricklaying contractors.
