has worked with Charleston Job Corps Center for over a decade. Joyce has a background in nonprofit grants administration and management. She gained her love for education and youth after working with a YouthBuild AmeriCorps program in rural West Virginia. Joyce enjoys seeing the transformation of our students as they accomplish goals while enrolled in the program.

has worked as a Carpentry instructor for over 20 years. He also is an OSHA and Scaffold instructor at Charleston Job Corps Center. Tommy enjoys working hands-on with young adults.

brings over a decade of experience working with a steel and fabrication company to his role as Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning instructor at Charleston Job Corps Center. Carl also previously served as an HVAC technician at West Virginia State University.

has worked in the technical field for over a decade. Richard is certified by the Building Performance Institute for Residential Air Sealing and Insulating. Richard has a passion for teaching others and watching them grow in their skills.

has a background in telecommunications specializing in digital and VoIP business systems, alarm, access controls, CCTV and fiber optics.

is working on his second associate degree. As a Computer Technician instructor, Cortland enjoys sharing his knowledge and wisdom with students and watching them grow.

managed and supervised logistics and warehouse operations for Fortune 500 companies such as GE Power, Goodyear, and Johnson & Johnson prior to teaching at Jacksonville Job Corps Center. Ray gives his students the skills necessary to be successful in a career in logistics operations.

has an extensive 20-year career working in an array of pharmacies, including retail, compounding and clinical. He encourages students to use critical thinking skills to troubleshoot problems. Mark has been recognized as one of the top Pharmacy Technician instructors within Job Corps, exceeding a 15% certification rate.  

started her medical career in 1996 as an EMT working with HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital Emergency Room. Kimberly has spent over 15 years as a Clinical Medical Assistant instructor with a high rate of success on the National Certified Medical Assistant Exam from her students. She subscribes to the theory that we can save the world, one student at a time.
