In addition to her teaching experience, Emily has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University, where she studied cinema and media studies and history of art and architecture, which she uses to engage students in the classroom. When she’s not working, Emily enjoys spending time with her cat, cooking and gardening.

is the Security and Protective Services/Military Cash Awards Program instructor at Glenmont Job Corps Center. He is a United States Navy veteran with over 15 years in the security industry, working in both armed and unarmed positions. Eugene enjoys teaching students the ins and outs of the industry and preparing them for a career.

brings nearly 10 years of experience as a licensed practical nurse to her role as the Certified Nurse Assistant instructor at Glenmont Job Corps Center. She has experience working in a variety of health care settings, including dermatology, urology and family medicine. Tiana also has certifications for Eastern medicine practices and is a yoga instructor, full-spectrum doula and small-business owner.

As an Advanced Career Training coordinator at Glenmont Job Corps Center, Andrada Niculae strives to help students pursue their dream careers. She strongly believes each of her students is gifted and views it as her responsibility to help them succeed.  

Lisa Maye, originally a Glenmont Job Corps Center graduate, is now the Medical Administrative Assistant instructor. She has worked on campus for nearly 20 years and instructs college-level courses, which help students earn national certifications. Lisa loves being an advocate for her students and going the extra mile to assist them however she can. 

brings over 40 years of career experience to her role as the Certified Nurse Assistant instructor at Gary Job Corps Center. She has worked in a variety of health care settings, including nursing homes and hospitals. Violet has taught at Job Corps for nearly 15 years and enjoys helping students jump-start their careers.

is the Carpentry instructor at Gary Job Corps Center. He is a retired U.S. Navy veteran and a small-business owner. Paul enjoys encouraging his students and making a positive impact on their careers and lives. 

Nicho Garcia has worked for the program for over 25 years. He brings nearly 35 years of industry experience and completed apprenticeships with the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association. Nicho enjoys motivating his students and serving as a positive mentor for them. 

is the Pharmacy Technician instructor at Gary Job Corps Center. She attended the National Institute of Technology in 2007 and has worked in a variety of pharmacies. Madelyn finds great reward in instructing Job Corps students and helping them find success in a career they love.
